Xiangqi
About Xiangqi
Chinese Chess board game against a computer opponent. To win you need to capture the general of your opponent.
How to Play
Place your pieces according to their specific movement rules. The King can only move one square at a time within the fortress. Advisors must stay within diagonal moves within the palace. Elephants move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Rooks move any number of squares straight, serving as powerful attackers. Cannons move like chariots but must require a screen piece to capture exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and attack sideways after crossing the river. Capture the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to outmaneuver the computer opponent.
